"I believe the attached picture is that of a ghost (not the one in the swimsuit). It was taken July 4th weekend of '98 at Port Austin, Michigan by a friend (that's me in the picture)."

Dave's Notes:
I suspect this is lens flare because of the angle the anomalies enter the photograph. The the sun appear to be above and in front of the photographer causing the rays of the sun to enter the complex lens, bouncing around inside and causing the ecto like pattern.
