Rita said, "These pictures were taken in
September, 1969, in our backyard. My daughter works with optical scientist and
camera specialists. They carefully looked at the pictures and the negatives and
said that a Brownie 20 camera with a fixed lens normally could not take these
pictures that appear to be developing in the circle of the lens."
"I believe that the first photo represent
Indians dancing in a straight line. The next picture appears to me as ritual in
progress and the last picture appears to be of an Indian Village with a hut and
trees in the background."
"This area was an ancient 'freeway' to travel
the inland routes through the lengths of California. Many villages were
situated in this area. Traveling through this region with Spanish General
Portola, Father Juan Crespi reported that on July 29, 1769, the party
encountered 'a small pool of water on the bank tehre is a very large village of
friendly Indians. The population numbered more than 70 souls; they were having
a feast which they had invited their neighbors of the river called Jesus de la
Temblores' (the Santa Ana River). The Santa Ana River is about two miles south
of my home. My property is actually part of hte Rancho San Juan de Santa Ana
land grant given to Don Pacifico Ontiveros by Mexico in 1837."

Notes:
Did this Brownie 20 camera take photos from the past? These
strange and eerie photographs were in the middle of the roll. The other
photographs were normal. Did Rita some how find a doorway or time portal that
allowed her to photograph the past with a Brownie 20 fixed lens camera? Are the
spirits of the past still living as they did when alive? You be the judge this
time.
