These ghost photos were sent by Peggy Gooday of LCollier39@aol.com.
Peggy said, "I am attaching two photos, per your specifications. These pictures were taken on a road trip my son and his girlfriend, Blue Valenzuela, took. The photo of Blue (blue coat and dark glasses), was taken at a formerly well-known punk rock club in Berkeley, California, on 924 Gilmore Street, by my son. The photo of my son, Travis Jupp, (wearing the hooded jacket), was taken the next day across the Oakland Bay Bridge, in San Francisco, by Blue. Neither of them recall any mist, smoke, fog, etc., at the time of the picture-taking. Travis has had experiences seeing "ghosts" since he was about four years old. We once lived in a house that was so active, UCLA Department of Parapsychology did an investigation of it. Travis was about five at that time and used to complain that an old woman was standing next to his bed at night, shaking the mattress. We later found out that an elderly woman had died in the room he was sleeping in, and that she died a slow death alone."
Dave's Notes:
The second photo sent by Peggy is an excellent example of a vortex dissolving into ectoplasm. I have suggested that orbs are spirits in motion, ectoplasm are spirits at rest. Notice the vertical vortex that dissolves into a mist like structure. Skeptics would still suggest that vortices are camera straps, however in this case, they might hold their tongue. Sketpics can be other ghost researchers who follow the orthodox belief system and rely upon Ouija Boards and Seances for their insights instead of scientific means, such as film and digital photography, for documenting the existence of spirits.
