Patti said, "I am sending three photos of my daughter taken within the past year or year and a half. I've written before to Ghost web explaining of how I have grown up with the presence of ghosts, ever since I lived at my mom and dads, and now that I see the pictures of my daugher, I suppose theyre still with me. It's ironic how the vortices are with only my daughter. I use an Advantage camera with no straps at all, not even a wrist strap. It is a simple black camera. I even thought one time it was my telephone cord until I realized it's cordless. I have no explanations for the white mark in the pictures. I never would have realized they were vortexes untill I read your webpage and it clicked wiht me that THAT is the white marks in my pictures. I looked thru what pictures I had and didn't come across any of the 'circle' orbs, but I did find a picture taken at my moms house with tons and tons of "smoke" like circles. It's neat that I found your page because now I realize what I have in my photos."
Dave's Notes:
The first response by a skeptic is, "Camera Strap!" However, if you take the time to read the comments, you will find that Patti clearly states that her camera had NO straps of any kind. This is an excellent opportunity to study the composition and texture of vortices that appear similar to straps. How many photos with similar looking vortices were toss out as 'alledged camera straps'?These photos should teach us not to prejudge a photo without the facts associated with it. The serious ghost investigator will withhold judgement until all the information is obtained. Unfortunately, the skeptic will immediately jump to a false conclusion based on the absent of facts. Sometimes I suspect the sketpic is scared to acknowledge the paranormal because it would disrupt their homogeneous world. In the Middle Ages, skeptics believed the world was flat and anyone suggesting otherwise was labeled a fool, just as skeptics continue to do today with valid photographic evidence of paranormal events.
