Spirits of Pocono Mountains

Marnie said, "This picture was taken at a formal I went to in the Pocono Mountains. The motel that it was held at was called Kelley's, and despite its Irish sounding name, it was modeled after German architecture with long corridors connecting each of the buildings and even old authentic suits of armour for decoration around the place. The place looked pretty creepy to begin with, but I never actually put much thought behind it until I saw some of the photos in your site with the similar markings as in this picture. This picture was the only one to have these strange swirls of light. The camera used was an Olympus 1.3 megapixel digital camera. Which as you said, digital cameras were preferred for detection of ectos and orbs due to the electomagnetism."
Dr. Dave's Notes:
It seemed that you had more visitors at this formal you attended. These spirit energy patterns are commonly found in photographs taken by both film and digital cameras. The digital camera is an excellent tool for recording of spirit energy patterns. However, if the digital camera is not used properly and according to our standards and protocols, the resulting photos will contain airborne dust particles we call dust orbs. Dust orbs are the most common orb anomaly that new photographers mistake for spirit orbs. Dust orbs can be compared to the the fools gold found by novice prospectors who came west to prospect for gold. Fools gold looks like the real thing, but it is too shiny and not dense enough to qualify. Real ghost orbs like real gold can be found, but they will not be as plentiful as the airborne dust particles.
