Kyle said, "I am currently working on a project to scan all of our family pictures and archive them to CDs when I came across two pictures taken when I was around 7 or 8 years old (1982 or '83?) in Tupelo, MS. They were taken while my
mother was opening birthday presents. The thing that strikes me as very
odd about the photos is that motion streaks are clearly seen moving from a
flower arrangement towards the ceiling and then back toward the floor in
photo 2 and from a chair to the ceiling in photo 1 while everything else in
the photos are perfectly focused with sharp edges- although a bit
underexposed and grainy. Both photos were scanned at 200 dpi on a Microtek
ScanMaker 4 and are unaltered from the original scan with the exception of
the red dot placed over my mother's face- she hates to be in pictures."
I haven't lived in that house since 1985, but recall that I would almost constantly notice shadows out of the corner of my eye darting across
hallways, especially through the kitchen. I've moved 5 times since then
and have very recently experienced a few instances of ceiling fans turning
on by themselves, satellite receivers turning off (no timers!), and a full
Tab cola can rotating and sliding across a table at the exact same time as
a funeral of a family friend we were unable to attend.
