Kristian said, "The picture was taken in early spring of '97 by myself. I was using a Canon Rebel EOS, with flash. I met the owner by way of his son who happened to be in my calculus class at PVCC. The owner had the picture's negative sent to a photography lab in Richmond VA to have it authenticated, which it was. I saw nothing when I took the picture, although I have friends whom have seen the ghost of a lady in a long dress standing quietly in the gardens only lasting about ten to fifteen seconds each time. The estate is called The Doolie Mansion (not sure on spelling). I listened to random stories on the place for about two years before finally getting the whole history. I'll make it brief. The daughter of a rich family in the late 1800's died or was killed in two specific ways. She was either killed by a gaurd or brigand by being pushed out of a seventy foot tall tower in the back of the estate or by hanging herself in a tree just at the edge of the gardens. Also near the tower. The picture was taken in front of the gardens at the dry fountain. There are four statues each about three and a half feet tall. I wish I was using a panoramic camera because as you can tell, I didn't quite capture all of her. It's funny that you talked about the different stages of a spirits transformation. Well I got something for you to look at any way.
