Jan said, "I finally captured a new set of vortex photos tonight ! The house next door to us is a pretty 'odd' place - no family has ever been happy
there. The last few nights I've captured what appears to be a 'brown' orb in the yard - and so tonight, I thought I'd see if I could capture it again on on photo. As usual, following all IGHS SOP, I went out about 11:15 PM into a lovely Spring evening - no precip and no wind, and took a series of 8 photos with the Sony Mavica FD-7. I noticed that while I held the camera up, the alley light you see thru the vortex, would fade in and out - as if something were passing in front of it from time to time. I was so excited when I got in and looked at the results - out of 8 pictures, the vortex appeared in 6!"
