London Ectoplasm

This ghost photo was sent by UK IGHS member Graham Bristow of graham.bristow@currantbun.com.

Graham said, "After having visited the Ghostweb site many times since first discovering it in 1998 I would like to submit the following photo taken at a BBQ outside my house in London England on June 1999 for your consideration. The photo is a digital image created by a Fuji MX2700 megapixel digital camera. The weather conditions were dull and cool. As a newcomer to ghost hunting with a digital camera I am already disconcerted that I can hardly take a picture that does not have any supernatural content. (no matter where I am) I invite any comments from experienced ghost hunters."

Dave's Notes:
The IGHS was the first Ghost Society to suggest ghosts were everywhere, not just in old buildings or historical sites or related to folk lore tales. Many IGHS members and visitors have discovered this simple truth. Ghosts are as numerous as the sands of the sea, just as we, who are living, are numerous. The most common manifestation are orbs and ectoplasm. The IGHS believes the orbs are the souls of those who have lived and died. The souls retain their intelligence, emotions and personality. When an orb stops moving and is at rest, it will dissolve into the ectoplasmic shape resembling mist or fog. The photo shows an ectoplasmic vapor from the contrails generated by a fast moving orb or orbs. Notice the two orbs hovering on the right side of the photo.
