These two photos of vortices were sent by D. Stonebraker of shootist@localline.com.

"These were taken with a "generic" camera, no strap. Taken two years ago in one of my Grandparents Pole Barns."

Dave's Notes:
Notice the shadow in the first photo cast by the vortex. The second photo shows a vortex going from right to lower left. Disregard the pinkish/white blob in the far right corner of both photos as these are created from a finger that got in the way of the lens. However, least any throw the baby out with the bathwater, the vortices are real and are not fingers! The vortices have a different composition than the blob created by the finger tip.
