Craig and Laura said, "Attached is a photo taken in my backyard. It was a calm, clear evening, with temperature hovering around 28 degrees."
"Our two cats were acting very strange that night (even more so than usual!). They were chasing invisible objects (I presumed them to be orbs) all over the house. They would crouch as if they were going to pounce on something on the floor, then all of a sudden, they would stop in their tracks and look straight up."
"I grabbed my Kodak DC210+ digital camera, and following IGHS S&P, began taking pictures. I shot around 20 pictures inside the house with no unusual results. Then I decided to shoot a few photos off my deck. The attached picture is the only one showing anything anomalous. There is nothing but woods behind my house, so there were no objects around to reflect the flash. This photo has only been lightened slightly; no other alterations were made to it."
"This pink light surprised me because of its intensity within the photo. There almost appears to be a slight pink reflection off the snow on the ground. It was pitch black behind my house when I snapped the shutter. I really have to make a point of researching this part of the Kettle Moraine because it is extremely active. It would be gratifying to learn why."
"It may be coincidental, but almost one year ago (2/20/99 to be exact) I captured my first anomalous ectoplasm/orb photo, "Kettle Moraine Orbs", which you have archived. I don't know if the date has any significance or not, but I'll be shooting lots of pictures that evening, just in case."
