Cascade Locks KOA is a nice campground located in a small community along the Columbia River Gorge. The area is known for strong winds and icy conditions during the winter months. We can tell we are back in Oregon as it is wet all the time. We must watch out for fungus growth between the toes because of the moisture. BooBoo went crazy with all the green grass. She has to stop at every tree and rock to sniff. We finally have local access to AOL. Local access to AOL has been nonexistent for us while we have been traveling. In places like Casper, WY that had local access, the KOA Internet Access sucked big time because they had noisy lines. We could not use their connection to get out. We had to go to a Flying J Truck stop to gain access to telephone lines. The fir trees are nice change from the pines and junipers of the Oregon high desert. Snow is forcasted at 5,000 feet in the Cascade Mountains, but we are about fifty feet elevation.
The two photos were taken at the KOA Park. The first photo is the office and the second is our RV nestled in the Fir trees.
