Union Cemetery

This ghost photo was sent by IGHS member Bill Rhoades of mddevore@neosoft.com.

Bill said, "The SouthEast Michigan Ghost Hunters Society conducted its latest investigation on Saturday, May 29, 1999 at Union Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. There were 7 people present, including myself. The weather was good, in the mid-60s, no rain, no fog, no snow, but a little humid and a LOT of mosquitoes - adding a can of Off to the ghost hunting tool kit!! All SOP of the IGHS were followed during the investigation."

"We obtained many terrific orb photos, three of the best I am including here. During the investigation, I relied heavily on the Thermal Scanner and tookphotos when the temperature dropped significantly - about 10 degrees or more. This method seemed to work well, as you will see from the photos. The photos included were taken by Bill Rhoads, SEMGHS President, using a Sony Mavica FD-71 Digital Camera with external Vivatar 2600 Flash and Slave unit. The most spectacular photo I have names orbsplit. It appears to have been one large orb that has split into several separate orbs in a star shaped pattern - it is quite incredible. The next picture is entitled coloredorb. In it there appears an orangish-red orb that was captured towards the base of the tombstone. And the third photo shows an orb that seems intent on the goings on of our group!! All photos show the anomalies when the photo is turned into a negative - most imaging software packages allow you to turn each digital photo into a negative as well as view it as taken."

"I believe many others in the group will have great photos to share once the 35 mm film is developed. All the ghostly photographs from the investigation will soon be posted to the SEMGHS website at www.semghs.com."
