Andrea writes, "This is a picture I took at Ground Zero in NYC in December 2001. I can't decide what the white fuzz in the picture is. I can't rule out ectoplasm, though I am not entirely sure that's what it is. What do you think? Feel free to use it on your website if you think it's something interesting. Without a doubt there was a heaviness in the air there, and a very solemn, powerful atmosphere. By the way, I love your site!"

Dr. Dave's Notes:
While most photos from Ground Zero that show multiple orbs are simply suspended dust particles, this photo may at first glance appear to be a reflection from the sun, but closer and detailed examination suggest that this is not the case. The white fuzyy anomalies appear to be spirit energy we call ecto-vapor and can represent one or more spirits or souls. A good sign is feeling a cold spot or if using an EMF meter, detecting an increase in the electromagnetic field compared to the ambient field that is the base line. This is one of the first true paranormal photo that has been sent to us that does not reflect suspended dust particles taken at Ground Zero.
